Inc.Powder Coating - The Durable Finish Option
Powder coating sign posts and
accessories provides an excellent alternative to painting. While paint
will
chip and fade easily, powder coating is much more durable. Powder coated
products are more resistant to damage due to impact, extreme weather, and
fading from sunlight.
Powder Coating is a dry
finishing
process, using finely ground particles of pigment and resin which are
electrostatically charged and sprayed onto a part to be coated. The parts
to be
coated are electrically grounded so that the charged powder particles
projected
at them adhere to the parts and are held there until melted and fused
into a
smooth coating in the curing oven. The result is a uniform, durable, high
quality finish that is also environmentally friendly.

Here's the powder coating
machinery. Spraying on the charged pigment particles is the first
step. |

Next the part is sent into the
curing oven to be heat cured. |
The end result? Sign posts
and
accessories with smooth, durable powder coat finishes.
